The Dunes Beach Resort concept was created by our company director, Russell Percival, who also designed and built Bali Beach Glamping and Glamp Nusa – where the wedding and glamping concept first took shape. Russell also renovated the stately heritage property Buckland Estate in the Avon Valley, now one of Perth’s leading wedding venues.
The name “Dunes” draws inspiration from our beachside location and the sand dunes on which the resort sits. With a deep understanding of the tourism, accommodation and wedding industries, we’re creating a destination designed to attract visitors from both Australia and abroad.
Our mission is to build and operate a premier beachfront venue that offers outstanding facilities for local communities, as well as Australian and international tourists – including quality coffee, excellent dining, and a welcoming space to relax with family and friends.
Additionally, we aim to create world-class accommodation that delivers unforgettable experiences and lasting memories, while blending effortlessly with the natural surroundings.
We also aspire to become one of Western Australia’s leading destinations for weddings and events, known for exceptional service and atmosphere.
At Dunes Beach Resort, our design philosophy goes beyond aesthetics; it embodies our dedication to harmonising human comfort with ecological stewardship. We prioritise a minimal environmental footprint, aiming to tread lightly on the land.
Our landscape design emphasises retaining existing vegetation, rejuvenating the site with native plant species to attract local fauna, and managing natural breezes while mitigating erosion. This approach ensures that our resort not only enhances the natural environment but also offers a sustainable and enjoyable stay for our guests.
