Groups at Dunes

A campsite feeling, with none of the camping

Some trips need everyone in one place. Mates’ weekends, milestone birthdays, families travelling together, or a group that simply wants to switch off. Dunes Beach Resort clusters luxury glamping tents across the top section of the resort, so your group shares decks, sunsets and morning coffee without anyone pitching a thing. The tents come with real beds, ensuites, heating and cooling, and the sort of view that makes the group chat go quiet because everyone is already here.

Inside a group stay

Tents together, days unplanned

The row

Tents side by side on the dunes

Book neighbouring tents across the upper section of the resort and turn a stay into a shared camp. Decks facing the sunset and friends wandering between tents.

The long table

Group dinners at Sandara

No cooking rosters. The whole group eats together at Sandara, our coastal restaurant. Shared plates, local wines and the ocean outside the glass.

The day

The beach runs the schedule

Swims before breakfast, long beach walks, sunset drinks on the decks. The coast fills the itinerary on its own.

Inside the tents

Hotel comfort, in canvas

Real beds, quality linen, ensuite bathrooms, heating and cooling, and private timber decks. These are the tents that convert the friend who does not camp.

What group glamping feels like

"One booking, and everyone is already there."

The group chat goes quiet because everyone is on the same deck. That is the point.

Group stays Perth

Made for trips that need everyone in one place

Group accommodation in Perth usually means a row of hotel rooms on different floors or holiday rentals scattered across a suburb. Group glamping at Dunes keeps the whole crew on the same stretch of dune, decks facing the same sunset, with nobody drawing the short straw on location.

It suits milestone birthdays, friends’ reunions, hens weekends, multi-generation family gatherings and team escapes. Book a handful of neighbouring tents or take a bigger slice of the resort, the layout flexes from a few couples to a full takeover.

Nobody cooks and nobody drives. Sandara handles the group dinners and breakfasts, the lounge bar covers the nightcaps, and the beach fills the days. One coordinator, one booking, one place, and a camping trip’s worth of stories without a single air mattress.

FAQs

Common questions, straightforward answers

Where exactly is the resort?

2 Quinns Road, Mindarie, Western Australia. About 30 minutes from Perth CBD via Mitchell Freeway.

How many tents can a group book?

Groups can book clusters of neighbouring tents, up to a full resort takeover of 38 tents sleeping 86 guests. Tell us your numbers and we will map the layout.

Can we all eat together?

Yes. Sandara hosts group dinners and breakfasts, and grazing or barbecue-style menus can be arranged. Ask the coordinator what suits your group.

When can I book?

Dunes is taking bookings now. Book online, or send us an enquiry and the team will confirm availability.

How much does group glamping cost per tent?

Rates vary by season, night of the week and how many tents the group books. Send your dates and numbers through and the team will quote the group as a whole.

Can we book the entire resort for our group?

Yes. Full resort takeovers of all 38 tents, sleeping up to 86 guests, are available for milestone celebrations, retreats and big family gatherings.

Are the tents comfortable in winter?

Very. Every tent has proper beds with hotel-grade linen, an ensuite bathroom, and heating and cooling, so group stays work year-round, not just in summer.

Is group glamping good for a birthday or reunion?

It is the ideal format. Everyone stays together, dinner is a long table at Sandara rather than a split bill across town, and the celebration can add a private lawn party or deck drinks without leaving the resort.
